Lucas - 16mths

Man where has the time gone?? Lucas has really taken off with his words - seems to have a new word every day. He is saying up, truck, duck, don't, ta

Lucas loves his sport, loves cricket - bowling the ball, attempting to bat and catching, loves kicking a ball around and is now trying his hand at golf. He also loves having races and playing hide and seek.

He blows kisses and sometimes comes up and gives you random kisses and hugs. Lucas is very good at helping with the housework especially haning out the washing.

The highlight of the holiday for Lucas would have been at the little farm.

We also went the the aquarium and Lucas love the fish ride and going round the moving walkway under the tank with sharks, stingrays and fish swimming overhead. He had to go round about 3 times.

Lucas loves being outside, loves carlos (the dog), loves climbing and loves his books.

Eleven Months

Have been a bit slack about taking photos, will upload some soon. Lucas has been taking steps for over a month now & finally started walking last week. The last few days he has got quite confident & tries to walk all the time. Lucas still hasn't got any teeth although the bottom two don't look that far away.
Lucas is ending up in our bed most nights now. Two out of the last three nights he has slept through which has been nice but for a few weeks he has been ending up in our bed, half the time at 12-1am.
Lucas is saying ta, dad, mum & makes car/truck/bus noises, is pointing at everything & makes some animal noises.

Nine Months

Lucas is very quick at crawling now, and walking around the furniture & even standing unaided for a couple of seconds. He is very chatty. He loves books & ripping up paper. He also loves feeding himself.
He did his first drawing today.
He has started pointing to things. He will point to a light, and sometimes with books he will point to what you ask him.

Lucas has now turned into a little boy - he's no longer our little baby. He is crawling around everywhere, pulling himself up on everything & getting into everything. We took him to lindale this weekend & he loved all the animals, except when the sheep baa right in his face.
Lucas loves his food & scabs everything we have.
